Recruitment Scam Advisory

We have seen a recent rise in recruitment scams and wanted to share some info to help you protect yourself during your job search with PSC Biotech/BioTechnique.
The most prevalent scam involves unauthorized third parties claiming to be PSC Biotech/BioTechnique representatives targeting prospective candidates with fake job opportunities and offers to solicit money or obtain personal or financial information. These fraudulent solicitations typically come via personal email or various third-party sites such as LinkedIn.

Please be careful and keep the following in mind with our recruitment process:

    1. PSC Biotech/BioTechnique recruiters will never ask you for money or to provide financial information during our recruiting process. Scammers often request money transfers for Visa processing fees or travel expenses, as well as personal information including passport info, social security numbers, credit card or bank account information.
    2. PSC Biotech/BioTechnique recruiters will never use personal email (including @gmail) accounts when contacting candidates. We also do NOT interview or screen candidates over messenger or text-based chat.
    3. All PSC Biotech/BioTechnique communication and employment offers will only come from an official email address using one of the following domain names:
          • Biotech.com

    Please ensure you verify all communication before sending any sensitive information. If you receive any suspicious messages, they should be ignored and reported.

    Verifications of Employment

    All requests for employment verification must be emailed to HRandPayroll@biotech.com and include a release form, signed by the individual within the last six months. Please note, it is against PSC Biotech’s policy to verbally verify employment. All requests, including re-verifications, must be in writing and emailed to HRandPayroll@biotech.com.
