CLiMET® 90 (CI-90) Viable Air Sampler (1 Month Rental)

Description

The CLiMET® 90 (CI-90) is a microbial air sampler. It can capture biological active particle such as fungi and bacteria onto a petri dish loaded with nutrient agar. The sample can be incubated to grow the captured microbes. The colonies formed after incubation are counted to determine the concentration of CFU’s (colony forming units) present in the air sample.

The straightforward control interface allows for ease of use, and the brushed-stainless steel exterior allows for thorough cleaning of surfaces before introduction into cleanrooms/clean zones.

The CI-90 has a sample flow rate of 100 liters per minute (100 LPM), requiring only 10 minutes to take a full 1 cubic meter sample. The sampled air is filtered before being exhausted through the bottom panel to ensure no contamination of the sample environment.

The CI-90 performance is complimented by its portability. The unit weighs 9.9 lbs and is compact. Its Nickel Metal Hydride (NiH) rechargeable battery allows for about 8 hours of runtime, making this unit ideal for sampling remote areas without compromising performance.

The CI-90 system includes security, to prevent setting changes or aborting a sample in progress. It can be set up for up to ten users. The built-in printer allows for printing of: labels with date and time sample was completed, Unit ID, User ID, Sample Location ID, Sample Volume, Sample Status.
